A Walk To Remember
By Linda M. Crate
you give me wings that I didn’t know I had,
you help me soar when I feel I cannot —
brushing away my sorrows and my anger
in equal measures of love, you show me what
romance ought to be, and I wonder why I
haven’t stumbled upon anyone like you before —
you are he that proves that chivalry isn’t
dead, that there’s a still a pulse in it’s veins;
you splash me in the shores of love that I’ll
never be able to forget, I’ll always remember.
