When You Can See the Moon in the Daytime
By James Fitzsimmons
Could nightingale and lark
Sing in sweet duet,
Unite light and dark
To dance a pirouette?
Then twilight would become
A time of greatest calm,
When day and night are one
And light sings dark a psalm.
The day our vows were made
I stepped into the light,
Through your love to rest was laid
The darkness of the night.
