Thunder, Lightning And Tigers
By Paul Tristram

It was the worst thunder and lightning
storm that I had ever seen,
the sky was ripped apart and alive.
Your eyes smiled as you watched nervously
then suddenly leapt sideways into my arms.
I felt you closer than any tattoo.
My love for you screamed out in sirens.
I felt as protective as a mother.
My aura was a gladiator,
now, all I needed was the tigers.
