LOVE SONG
By D.M Aderibigbe
I'm wielding my melodious pen, pouring dulcet blood
on the staircase of a piece of paper.
I'm writing a sonorous song, that will sing itself
In your heart when your eyes bump into it.
The lyrics will preach my love, as long as I live,
even, when my page is turned over, it continues to linger on like Methuselah.
Even when your heart crumbles, like a
Tsunami-hit building,
It will live on, like the deathless songs of praises.
