Moment Of Realization

Day by day we got to know each other
A little more than we did the day before.
Every look in your eyes
Was more enchanting than the other.
Our hearts flourish into red decadence,
And our souls into coral flush.

We had those moments,
Where we could feel rather than think.
And the world seems so fresh and new,
That when I’m with you
Its as if everything just came into existence.

It is as if it were mean to be.
Unchanged and unaltered.
Hand in hand wherever we go
Through life’s tribulations and troubles
We live our lives off these precious moments of love and joy.

Alexander Rivera is currently a Senior at Cerritos High School. In the fall he will attend the Fashion Institute for Design and Merchandising to start his A.A. in Graphic Design. His artistic works have been featured in Tokyopop.
